How to Post a Project on GAF
On GAF (getafreelancer.com) not only you can get a job but also you can create a job for other freelancer. It is a great idea to make your job by others to save your time. GAF give the opportunity you to create a project for free. Creating project on GAF is very easy and it takes about 1-2 minutes. So let’s create a project on GAF.
Before Posting a Job
You should keep some important things on your mind before you decide to create a project. Just follow the point.
1. Set your budget.
2. Maximum how much days you want to give to the freelancer to complete the job.
Create the Opportunity for Freelancer
We are going to create an opportunity for the freelancers. To go to the creation page just do the following:
1. Login to your Freelancer.com account with your unique username and password.
2. From the horizontal navigation bar click on Post Project. You will go to the creation page.
Now you have to provide the project’s details.
1. Project Name: It is the title of your project. People will see on the list this title. The title should eye-catching. People will more like your project to see the title rather than other projects.
2. Project Description: Here you need to write a description about your project. Based on your job’s category you should write as much as you want until the freelancers can understand clearly. You have to make sure your description is clear enough.
3. Job Type: Now you have to select a job type. You can select maximum 5 categories.
4. Job Budget and Expired date: Select your budget form the drop down menu. After that set a number of days that tell the GAF, how many days you want to open the project for bidding.
5. Attach Files: Whether you want to attach an additional file with your project, you can upload files as many as you want by clicking on Upload Files button. This is optional but it is good for freelancers to understand the job type.
Whether you want to create the project for free, you have not to do anything after entering the job’s details. Just click on Preview my project! You will see the preview. If there is any mistake, go to the previous page and repair. Otherwise click on Post your Project NOW! Your project will go to for approval and available on GAF in a while.
Whether you want to create a distinct project, there are several options for you. Here is the description.
• Featured Project: Featured projects are shown notably on the front page, listed above all other projects. Featured projects as a result attract more, higher quality bids. Featured projects are also randomly rotated as related projects on top of all other project pages. Next to each featured project there is a graphic which also makes the project more noticeable. It costs $19.
• Nonpublic Project: Since all of the major search engine crawl Freelancer.com every day (and rapidly; your project can be in Google as fast as 20 minutes after posting), your project details are available for anyone to peruse. In order to protect your privacy you can choose this option. "Non public" project category for those times when confidentiality is a must. All Freelancer.com service providers will still be notified of your project and response will not suffer. The only difference is that search engine spiders can not see the listing and registered users have to log in before reading the details. It costs only $3.
• Sealed Bids: By this option no one (without you) will able to see what’s happening inside your project. That means all bids will invisible to the freelancers without you. It has proved that by this option project gets lower bids. It costs $3.
• Full time Project: This project is for hiring a full time or commission based position. It costs $99.95.
