How to make your Computer more Fast

Few months ago I have explored some killer way to make a Computer faster. I am going to share it to you.

Windows XP Graphics:

Windows XP have great graphics styles which is made it beautiful. But this graphics styles make your computer slow. If you can remove some of this graphics styles then your computer will faster than present condition. So let’s remove some of this graphics styles and increase your computer performance. 

1.    On Desktop, right click on My Computer and select properties.

2.    Click on Advance tab.

3.    Click on Performance settings. A new window will appear.

4.    The Visual Effect tab is selected. From there uncheck the first option ‘Animate windows when minimizing and maximizing’, ‘Show shadows under menus’, ‘Use a background image for each folder type’.

5.    After finishing uncheck them click ‘ok’.

 

You will notice some changes on graphics style and windows appearing.

Windows classic view:

One of my friends has an old Pentium 3 processor and 256 RAM computer. One day she called me to make her computer faster. According to her request I go her home and start the computer. After imposing above idea I see that her computer don’t become faster as she wants. So after thinking few minutes I get an idea to make her computer faster. I change her default Windows XP theme to Windows Classic view. Believe me after doing that her computer become as faster as Dual Core Processor.

Virtual memory:

When your RAM needs more memory to open a large program then Window makes a virtual memory to increase the RAM memory. Window shares it from hard disk as a page file. Page file is an area on the hard disk that window uses as if it were RAM. But because of Page file size your computer become slow. Generally Window make a large Page file. So it should decrease the size of Page file. To lament of your page file size go to Performance settings as it is shown before. Now select the Advance tab. At the virtual memory segment click on Change button.

On the new window make sure that it is selected the C: drive. Now click on Custom Size radio button. Set the page file size to 524-1048.

Click Ok and Restart your computer to make the effect.
