Keep it short: Short domain name is easy to memorable. Try to keep it under 15 characters. So that your visitor don’t make a mistake when they type your URL. For instance travel.com is better to remember than travelanywhereintheworld.com. I hope you understand.

Keep it Sweet: Get a domain name sweet and honey. So that your visitors come back to your site for sweet domain name. 

Keep it Simple: Don’t make your domain name complex so that people can’t pronounce it. Don’t use random numbers like 723468. If you want to keep numbers on your domain name then use rhythmic or rhymed numbers like 555, 777, 6699.

    Thanks for your nice tips. Here i would like to share in my own words how to choose a good domain name.

    1)Try to register with .com extension. Because .com is universal domain extension. .com is suitable for commercial sites. It is also suitable for all type of websites.

    2) If .com is not available you can go for .net, or .org or .info etc.. .net is suitable for networking sites.
    .org is suitable for organization sites, and .info is suitable for information sites.

    3) Reduce more hyphens in your domain name
    4) Your domain name should be short and easy to remember.

    5) Your domain should suitable for your business or your service.

    6) Try to register your domain name in good provider.
